Hi kyonkyon, As far as I know, Nendoroids are all made in China. Since you're planning to buy from Yahoo! Auctions Japan, it should be alright since the sellers are most likely to be from Japan. For the pictures, if the quality of the items look good, then they're probably authentic. Just make sure that they look like they were taken by the seller and not just downloaded from the figure company's website. Most of my figures were bought online, save the first few ones I bought from the Philippines from reputable stores. The online stores I trust are Play Asia, Hobby Link Japan and Hobby Search. I only risked eBay once.

Hello! Thank you very very much for posting this.. I’m just starting my nendoroid collection (as of now, I only have 1 and I haven’t even touched it yet. and this entry is really helpful for someone like me who also hates bootlegs.

I found your blog by searching for this question, are authentic nendoroids also made in china? Or should they be “made in japan”? I plan to bid on some auctions in yahoo! auctions japan through a proxy and the pictures of the items always say that they’re “made in china”.. The quality of the items are great though based on close-ups. So.. can you please tell me if they’re more than likely fake or not? Thanks!

Dont get me started how I hate the direction RE took with Part 4 and how it ran against a wall with Part 5 for me.
I could somehow enjoy RE4 but after i played the RE5 Demo i knew that I wouldnt buy this game. Just another Actiongame with RE characters but no RE.

Its weird that you guys enjoyed RE 3 the most since its the weakest of the original REs in my opinion.
If id have to choose one of them itd probably be RE 2 or 1

@ Aerin: I got the PS3 for MGS and FFXIII (which is taking SO long)… I could have waited, but when I heard that the 60gigs were being phased out, I rushed to get one of the last ones in one of the stores where I live. Haha XD

I’ve had the PS3 for a while now and I’m really happy with it <3 My sister had a second hand 360 for a while, rarely played on it and ended up selling it. It’s a miracle it didn’t die on us. Haha, just kidding!
